Jeff's Corner.
Jeff Lee, Vintage Nest Owner & Operator, is the creative influence behind our artistically welcoming yet alluring brick-and-mortar shop. He began his retail career working at Belk during his college days. However, as a creator, he felt he could design a space that offered a turn back in time for people, one that allowed them to reminisce on vintage times, immersing themself in quality goods, stellar customer service, and all the trinkets, decor, and merchandise necessary to gather families and friends back around the table to share stories and a hot meal. When timing and opportunity presented themselves, the Lee family took the plunge, aiming to achieve this goal, and began The Vintage Nest LLC.

Over the years, Jeff has provided many iterations of the concept, beginning with booths in community stores with vendor spaces and burgeoning into high-level decorative furniture painting. Now, his store is the perfect marriage of the past and the present, offering new items with a vintage aesthetic or feel, upcycled furniture pieces, boutique apparel, jewelry, handbags, specialty foods, home and garden decor, and more. Whether it be traditional card games, themed barware, drinkware, or textiles to add finishing touches, Jeff thinks of it and ensures that he has an optimal selection in his shop. That said, Jeff is more than a business owner and creative; he is a dedicated member of his community, illustrating his passion for progress and community development through his roles as a Board Member Mount Holly Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of the Montcross Area Chamber of Commerce; Board Member of Mount Holly Community Development Foundation; and, a Member of Mount Holly Economic Development Mission.

Jeff has achieved numerous awards for his success in developing and continuously elevating his community contributions, both professionally through his business and personally, through his community involvement. In 2012, he received The Vision Award from the Mount Holly Chamber of Commerce. His additional awards include 1.) The Gaston Regional Chamber Business of the Year (among businesses with 1-15 employees) (2016) and 2.) Montcross Area Chamber- Business of the Year (2016). Currently, Jeff is focusing on numerous creative enterprises, including increasing decorative furniture production, designing and branding his Balcony Boutique, and launching his fragrance library concept. His additional upcoming pursuits include delivering community art classes, expanding programmatic and event offerings, and partnering with local vendors to enhance food options locally.
